Born and raised in Santa Ana, California, DJ Wally grew up listening to a variety of music and mixing styles developing his passion for becoming a DJ. Inspired by Power 106 DJs and turntablist DJ Q-Bert, he began his career at the age of fifteen. His humble beginnings as a bedroom DJ and his first public performance at a backyard Halloween party exploded his desire to become an official DJ. Taking the name DJ Wally from his childhood nickname, he spent his high school years mixing at house parties, family, and community events. After completing high school, he continued DJing at social events and began rocking the nightlife scene. 

 

DJ Wally enrolled at the Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood to pursue his passion for music and earned a certificate in Recording Engineering and Live Sound. He enhanced his knowledge and experience in the music making process and is now working on producing his own tracks (coming soon). 

 

He has performed at numerous Southern California nightlife spots (listed below). 

 

In addition, DJ Wally has been teaching . This provides him the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and passion for music to the next generation of aspiring  DJs.
